CITB SSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme) course is tailored for first-line managers and construction site supervisors who play a key role in maintaining safety and compliance. This industry-recognised training equips participants with the essential skills to monitor site safety, promote workforce health, and ensure legal compliance under UK construction regulations.
Aim: This qualification evaluates your knowledge and understanding in key areas, including:
- Health & Safety law and Occupational Health
- Developing a Health & Safety management system
- Fire prevention and control
- Risk assessment and method statements
- Hazardous substances
- CDM regulations
- Working at height & Manual Handling
- Personal protective equipment
- Accidents and first aid
Who Should Attend?
Supervisors or skilled worker looking to get into supervisory role.
Criteria to attend:
- Must have completed 16 years, however need to bring completed parental consent if below 18 years.
- Must have a valid photo Id (Preferably Driving License or Passport)
- Must have good understanding of English Language (Written and Spoken)
- Must have Windows computer of Laptop with working webcam, microphone and speaker with reliable internet connection to attend this course online.
Mode of Training: Online and Classroom
Assessment: There will be an assessment on the 2nd day, need to score 81% marks minimum to pass.
What you get upon completion:
Upon successful completion, you’ll receive a digital certificate valid for 5 years, as CITB no longer issues physical certificates. To stay compliant, this course must be renewed every 5 years before expiry. Please note, this certificate does not qualify you for any CSCS Card.
