Overview: This 2 days CITB SMSTS-Refresher course is for Managers who have already completed 5 days SMSTS course and the course is still in date. It enhances and refreshes individual’s knowledge of site safety responsibilities and accountability.

Aim: This qualification evaluates your knowledge and understanding in key areas, including:

  • Current focus of HSE’s attention
  • Risk assessments and method statements
  • CDM Regulations
  • Construction Health, Safety and Welfare (CDM part 2)
  • Reporting of Accidents, Diseases and Dangerous Occurrences (RIDDOR)
  • Overview and changes to the current legislation affecting construction

There will be an assessment on the 5th day, need to score 81% marks minimum to pass.

What will you achieve upon completion

You will be awarded with digital certificate valid for 5 years upon completion as CITB has stopped sending physical certificate. This course needs to be renewed every 5 years before its expiry. This certificate will not qualify you for any CSCS Card.
