Description

The CSCS Provisional Card is designed for individuals starting their career in construction and working through a probationary period while employers assess their suitability. This temporary card is valid for six months only and cannot be renewed.

You can apply for a Provisional Card only once and only if you have never held a CSCS card before. Before the card expires, holders must either achieve or be registered for a recognised construction-related qualification and then apply for the appropriate CSCS card that matches their job role.

To qualify, applicants must have successfully passed the CITB Health, Safety and Environment Test  or any CITB Test within the last two years.
